G&G Aviation of Rome and the U.S. company Dodson International entered into an agreement for the cooperation in the purchasing of aircraft (including helicopters) which, for technical or economical reasons, are no longer used for flying.

Dodson, established in 1967, is active worldwide in trading of any typeof aircraft (from single engine piston aircraft up to jet liners) and of the relevant spare parts.

More than 200,000 line items are normally available in the 160,000 square feet of insode storage at the headquarter in Rantoul, Kansas.

Furthermore Dodson is specializing in the complex activity of aircraft dismantling which is carried, in any part of the world, by its own technical staff.

It has to be noted that, especially for the larger aircraft, dismantling and subsequent disposal and/or shipment of the materials may create big troubles to non specialized companies both for logistics and regulatory aspects.
